My Wife and i decided to break the journey from Normandy to Southern Brittany this site seemed ideal,booked in helpful chap in reception, we choose a pitch and got set up,i then inspected the loos looking for a tap and was amazed at the poor condition of the toilet block,in 25 years of caravaning it must be the worse i have seen,a chap just arriving knocked on my door and asked if there was another toilet block as he also couldnt believe the condition,.i checked out the other two blocks one was locked the other was just as bad,i think this site needs to be re inspected.couldnt wait to leave

Mosquito heaven! And more flies of one variety or another, than you could shake a stick at. Ridiculous! Wifi is free, at reception only. Move three feet away and you\'ll have to log in again. Why that requires a password, is beyond me. Pitches at all angles on a very steep site. Stayed one night and couldn\'t wait to leave. No other acsi site for miles, which is a shame.
Never again, I\'d rather park on the road.

We only stayed here for one night so do not have an in depth view of the site. Generally very functional. Pitches on the majority of the site are marked and hedged but many are small, especially those alongside the lake. Single axle caravans should cope however. We pitched on an unmarked area which was on a terrace and overlooked the lake. A very nice spot and we would return. Wifi available free at the bar/reception. Canoeing and swimming in the lake and a public swimming pool is available next door. It was very hot when we were there and the pool was very full and very noisy!! Just what you would expect. Lovely walks available around the lake including in to the local village.

This seems to be a municipal site with a swimming pool next door free to campers also sports activities including kayaking.
It is in a good place by the river but does need some TLC especially the toilet & shower facilities.
The pitches vary in size and some have shade.
Wifi is free at the reception area.
The village which has plenty of floral decorations and Chateaus is about 1 mile from the site along the river path.
Mayenne is the nearest town with Super U etc.

The all grass ptches are boggy during rain. The toilets are so-so and the showers run out of hot water before you have finished. Everything is not particularly clean. The site is picturesque but I would not stay here again.

Nice situation by river although most pitches very shady. Lovely river side walks bike rides and nearby towns. Excellent sports facilities.
