mooie camping met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Toiletgebouwen netjes en schoon heerlijke warme douches. goed werkende wasmachines en drogers. op de fiets langs de rivier naar Salamanca is goede te doen. kijk goed als je s avonds in donker terug moet. fijne plaats om te verblijven.

busy site but this not a negative. shaded pitches which during height of summer will be a god send however out of season they can remain cool. Great cycle route into Salamanca which was lovely highly recommend an evening out there just for the ambience . clean toilet and showers and great meal at on site reception . would stay again

Didn’t book and the site was quite busy when we arrived. Friendly receptionist who spoke great English. Pitches aren’t allocated and as we’re travelling with friends we had to walk the site to find two pitches together.
Quite tight to get into some of the pitches, we’re 7.5m long with the tow bar bike rack and it was snug to make sure we weren’t over the access road.
Bar is nice, lots of seating outside, service is friendly, if a little chaotic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, had to book and couldn’t get a table until 9pm. Worth the wait, lovely steak, although could have done with a bit of veg or potatoes with it.
Toilets were clean, ran out of loo roll in some stalls, but restocked. Soap ran out in the toilets and took a while to be restocked. Plenty of hot water in the showers, not push button.
We cycled (e-bike) along the river into Salamanca, easy route, but be aware that it isn’t smooth path and there is a narrow part of the path which my friend and I got off and walked as it was rough and we didn’t fancy a bath in the river if we’d come off!
Salamanca is lovely, lots to see. Recommend climbing the Scala Coeli which is free to climb. 181 steps to the top, plus the bell tower and you have great views across Salamanca. cross over from Scala Coeli to Casa de las Conchas, which is now a public library. Enter through the huge doors and enjoy the inner courtyard.

A lovely site, well laid out and maintained. Toilets, shower and laundry were all clean. Facilities for washing motorhome were a bonus. Short walk to the bus stop for the bus to the city was really useful and the meal in the restaurant was very nice. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone travelling this way.
