We were enthused by the reviews but put off by the name thinking it might be a "posh" site (it wasn't). It was beautifully situated although given the wet weather getting around the site safely was a challenge with uneven crazy paving and steps to access facilities. There were lots of natural areas between the somewhat compact pitches. The drier wasn't working so took wet washing to launderette after we left. We didn't use the restaurant or sports facilities.

lovely rural campsite set on the edge of the river Lima. rustic pitches under trees. facilities good hot water and good washing machine. ability to hire. small electric boats and pedal ones at the nearby centre which is fun. restaurant friendly and good but basic food. beautiful setting so would recommend

Beautiful setting in the woods overlooking a lake. Very tranquil for camping. Very helpful staff with an excellent cafe. Great outdoor adventures very nearby: wild swimming, canyoning, mountain biking.

The most quiet location in Peneda-Gerês, the only Portuguese National Park, with easy access, lots of hiking trails, pristine waterfalls and rivers, suited foe water leisure like Stand Up Paddle. A very friendly staff being always ready to assist the guest and cherish the stay at any comfort level and with a catchy positive vibe.Best way to discover the gem of Northern Portugal = Escape to Nature with Lima Escape!

So friendly couldn't do enough for my husband and I . Made is 70 th birthday spectacular. Including champagne delivered breakfast.Second visit

Lovely setting by river and for entry to national park walks. Cafe simple food with really friendly and helpful staff. Shower and toilet block very clean. Area for m/homes and caravans are a bit tight and the large area at top has little shade - if you can get a pitch on lower area within trees would be better. Would recommend, good price and fantastic location.

The special location where it is, the views to the river, the beautifull nature on this area of Portugal and also a very friendly staff let you very confortable when you are there. Also a good facilities a good restaurant and bar in the camping and you can also discovery very good restaurants in the area. The region have a lot to offer and if you like walks in nature in the reception they give you very good information about the area! This is a must go camping!
