Empfang sehr freundlich. Wunderschöner Platz. Leider scheint die Kette Night&Day nicht in Personal oder Equipment zu investieren. Sanitaire grenzwertig, Waschmaschine indiskutabel dreckig, Pool geschlossen. Schade, der Platz auf der Insel liegt traumhaft.

beware!!! this site charges you whatever they like. we realised we were not given the ACSI discount and when we asked we were told the reception could not give refunds and we should e mail the manager and he would pay the excess back to us as the reception guy was new and didn’t know how to process ACSi. needless to say we have had radio silence since. no e mail, no telephone call, no text. site is unloved and toilets a dirty.

We arrived just after 2pm. Be advised that the office opens at 4pm during afternoons, but you can park by the bar to wait. The man on reception was polite and friendly, if somewhat scruffy as were the facilities. The site itself is well laid out; plenty of space and shade. But the showers and toilets are dirty, with grime everywhere except directly below the shower. The service point is disgraceful, unclean and covered in flies where a slow leak has gone green. Pool closed, half empty and green.

Hallo, am 12.06. wollten wir am Abend einen Stellplatz. Der sogenannte Manager hatte eine Bedingung, unglaublich. Nur wenn wir Essen in dem Local zu uns nehmen, können wir bleiben. Die anderen Bewertungen sprechen auch für sich. Beste Grüße!

Twee nachten gelogeerd op deze prachtige camping, mooie ruime plaatsen met schaduw en zon. Parkachtig met prachtige grote bomen. Het zwembad was nog niet geopend. Het sanitair is in de twee nachten die wij verbleven niet schoongemaakt aan onze kant van de camping en er was wel wat onderhoud nodig. Restaurant op de camping is goed, spareribs en mooi borrelplankje met een lokaal biertje. Receptie zeer vriendelijk en we mochten zelf een plaats uitzoeken maar zijn advies was perfect.

Excellent camp site 20-30 minutes walk along the Charente to the town centre.
Friendly staff. Excellent food in the restaurant.
Big pitches separated by shrubs and trees.
Sainres is worth a visit with its Roman ruins.

We tried this site because of the city. We found the city, and the cycle routes really good. All the Cognac houses, charge for tours, except we think Bache. You need to pre book online for an English slot. The site reception closes at 12, and WILL NOT allow arrivals till it reopens. Grass pitches and walkways, so it is messy in wet weather. Toilets get messy therefore. Restaurant is ok for a quick basic pub type meal.

Staff at reception very helpful and pleasant to deal with, very good English spoken.
Site very nice next to river with large pitches, most located under trees.
Toilets and showers clean.
pitches had a mixture of European 6A and “blue” 16A hook up, we had an adaptor so not an issue for us, but another couple didn’t have adaptor, the star at reception changed their pitch to one with “blue” socket.
Approx 30 mins walk along river into Cognac, beautiful town well worth a visit.
