Superb location as you can walk into the town’s main square for eateries and shops within a few minutes. Pitches a good size and easily accessible. We had a problem with the caravan and the Manager was extremely helpful by letting us order the required part on the site’s Amazon account. It is our 2nd visit to this site and definitely won’t be our last.

Excellent campsite on the banks of the Dordogne adjacent to a lovely old town with restaurants and bars.
One or two things seem to have slipped a little from previous years, the soap dispenser in the main toilet block no longer works and one of the original toilet seats has obviously broken and has been replaced by one of very poor quality.
The campsite also actually stayed open, and accepted ACSI for a week longer than stated in the book or on the App

Really nice site, right by the river, just a few minutes away from the lovely town. The site is very well looked after as are the toilets/shower facilities. There was no food or open bar which was a shame as the site was quite busy. Didn’t use the pool but it isn’t very big! You could order bread the day before though. You do have a choice of places to eat in the town which is good.

The site is close to the town and river with some nice walks.
The staff here were very friendly and attentive.
We thought that this was the best campsite that we visited on our five site visit to France.

Beautiful camping alongside the river. Friendly staff clean and tidy facilities.. We will specifically look for Huttopia sites again.

We.have stayed on this excellent campsite several times over the last few years and have enjoyed everyone.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and the town is only about five minutes walk away. it has restaurants and bars and an interesting medieval church
The only quibble I would have with it is that the ACSI guide shows all types of BBQ are permitted and in previous years we have enjoyed using our charcoal BBQ. The site has now banned their use which seems excessive as we have never seen the ground here parched or even particularly dry. When I raised the issue with the staff they pointed out that there is a common barbecue that anyone can use. This however could be a long way from your pitch and the area is commonly used by groups of campers for meals etc.

Really lovely site: staff friendly, cheerful and hardworking; able to order bread, nice pool, good laundry provisions and clean fully equipped sanitary facilities (the best on our trip this year!). Large, comfortable pitch by the river (no ACSI discount but worth it) and lovely surrounding countryside. Short, easy walk into wonderful town with shops, restaurants and medieval buildings. Would make excellent centre for touring the area. Good value for money and would definitely return.

A perfectly positioned campsite with easy access to Beaulieu sur Dordogne and the surrounding area. Good cycling and walking opportunities. Lots of trees and nature all around. Very tasty pizzas and an excellent local craft beer. Great facilities, clean and well stocked.
