Accueil excellent...sanitaires très propres ..ce camping très calme , reposant et bien ombragé ,en bordure des pistes cyclables nous a donné entière satisfaction !

Wir wollten den Abend aufgrund der guten französischen Bewertungen im Internet in der dortigen Gaststätte ausklingen. Es war ein totaler Reinfall. Die als sehr gut beschriebene Pizzen kamen 1 sehr gut gebacken, die andere auch an der Unterseite schwarz an den Tisch. Diese habe ich zurück gehen lassen und sollte eine andere bekommen. Nach 40 Minuten wartete ich immer noch und bekam zur Antwort dass viel los ist.Wir haben bezahlt und sind gegangen.

We stayed 5 nights. There is a lovely cycle path along the river from near the site to Blere which is about a half hour cycle to supermarkets. On the banks of the river Cher which offers boat hire, kayaking etc but these were closed in September. Chateau Chenonceaux is a 10 min cycle ride and worth visiting. Several other chateaux nearby but possibly more driveable than cyclable (50 mins - 1 hr + on a bike). The toilets and showers were dirty. More a fault of the users than the site but we decided to use our van instead. The site has lovely fresh bread every morning and the restaurant was a godsend. Not gourmet food but reasonably priced, good service and a nice ambience. Avoid ordering red wine unless you want it chilled though!! They keep it in the fridge

Sehr schöner Campingplatz direkt am Ufer des Flusses Cher mit allem was man braucht. Freundlicher Empfang, zum Schloss 2,5 km Entfernung.

Super toller Campingplatz! große Plätze, freundlicher Empfang, tolle Lage und sehr ruhig. wir kommen gerne wieder! danke und merci

What a little gem of a site. Four peaceful nights, clean toilets and showers with plenty of hot water. On site restaurant has a limited menu but food cooked fresh and reasonably priced. Ate there twice during our stay, highlights for me were the sardines, yum, followed by the cafe gourmand. Good central position for seeing a lot of the area, we cycled along the Cher, both ways and also had trip out to Chambord and cycled to the chateau thru the forest. Close by are Blere and Amboise, also nice.

We have been going to Le Moulin Fort for the past 8 years initially on a whim and when it was with it's original owners. SInce the change in management Christele & Patrice have made such improvements that we are going to be storing our caravan there in the future as we love the site so much. The new restaurant has amazing locally sourced produce, they are upgrading the wi-fi and are slowly getting to renovate the rest of the site. They take pride in everything they do and treat everyone as family. They and there team are so helpful they go out of their way to ensure that everyone has a wonderful time whilst staying there, even if it is just for an overnight stop. We have made so many friends there that we now meet up on a yearly basis and will continue to do so as long as we can.

Great site with a pool, lovely walks, and good cycling routes nearby. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it look very good & was very popular with other campers & locals. Great staff
