This campsite is one of the best sites we stayed at in many years camping in France, and to think we only discovered it this year, stayed for a week on our way home, thoroughly enjoyed it. And we have to say this, much of its success has to be down to Julian the life of the place. Julian, we love you

uOr first time at this site. A dream. From the moment we stepped into the reception to the moment we left, a fantastic site. Clean, great facilities, two pools, bar / restaurant. Reception staff could not do enough to assist not only us but other campers in difficulty. Booking again to come back.

I have to endorse all the comments on the staff at this site, helpful and friendly hardly do them justice. regarding the restaurant my wife and I enjoy regional dishes cooked well and they certainly did not disapoint here. The chicken in beer, followed by the apple tart was a excellent meal at a very reasonable price. The restaurant was full but not overly so with the restaurant staff providing an excellent service. Our first stay at this location, but it will not be our last. Thank you.

We only stayed at this campsite for one night on our way to Calais but definitely worth a longer stay. Excellent facilities, good sized pitches and we enjoyed a very reasonably priced meal at the on-site restaurant. Made to feel very welcome by the reception staff and in the restaurant

Our favourite gem of a site is Chateau Gandspette . My wife and our tiny chihuahua have had many a fabulous 3 week stay there .. two this year ! The Management and Staff are superb and will go above and beyond if you need any help .. a bi lingual reception Manager helps ! The facilities are superb., what better start to your day than a swim in one of the two pools .. I show off and swim in the unheated one to wake me up ha ha . An early evening drink on the outside seating area of the bistro followed by a delicious meal finishes a perfect day . The nearby Blochaus is interesting and well worthy of a visit . This year we also did a boat trip on the nearby Marshes with some friends we met on the site . Think we all pretended we understood more of the guided talk than we did but we got the gist of the places of note ha ha . Will repeat the guided boat tour again next year but need to refresh our French a bit more I think . It all added to the fun ! Great place the Gandspette, have recommended it to many friends who now also enjoy the site as much as we do .

Beautiful settings.. peaceful.. two great swimming pools.. great restaurant and bar.. staff lovely

This is an excellent campsite, we always stay here when returning to Calais from our various holidays. The staff are fantastic, welcoming and very hardworking. The only downside is that the bar is not open during the afternoon. It would be nice to relax at the bar with a drink especially in the hotter weather. We look forward to returning again later in the year.

The campsite is beautifully kept, the staff are incredibly helpful and the facilities are spotlessly clean.

This is our second visit to this campsite on a return journey to Calais. This time we stayed for two nights and we still have lots more to do and discover. We ate in the restaurant both nights, which is both reasonably priced and the food is good. Clean facilities, friendly staff, tennis courts and walks/cycling from the campsite means we’re more than likely coming back here again to carry on where we left off.
